About Stephanie McCormick

I’m obsessed with flow. I start computer games over and over again to get the flow maximized throughout the game, and try to streamline how I cook dinner to be more efficient than a television chef. Now, I’ve turned this into my entrepreneurial passion. My company offers agile coaching to help other organizations maximize their flow.

Along my personal agile journey; I have studied numerous methods including Scrum, Kanban, Disciplined Agile and Scaled Agile Framework. These methods and frameworks blend with empiricism which still keeps me connected to my early career as a scientist in Biotechnology.

My consulting background spans start-ups, enterprises and government clients – all of whom have offered continuous learning and growth while also allowing me to experience several roles. I endeavor to pass that on to others and keep our agile community connected as we develop each other and achieve incredible results from maximizing flow and delivering value together.

What is 1337?

1337, or leetspeak, as a kind of language goes back to the 1980s, when users of computer Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) would shorten words, e.g., you to u and are to r, for convenience.

1337 itself comes from the word elite and the term itself has gone on as a slang term for “extremely skilled (at gaming or computing)” or, more generally, “awesome”.
